When I import an XML file from FCPX, Resolve trims clips that present an audio overlap. Consequently, I lose several frames here and there in the timeline resulting in a truncated video. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a solution to this?
Thank you, Oldschool47. For a 2-hour talking heads documentary, fixing things manually appears overwhelming to me. I think I might rather work on the attributed roles in FCP which seems to be an interesting avenue for a solution.
Yea I think that's the right solution. Manually fixing them would be no joke for a doc that long. It's just further proof of lack of cooperation between FCP and DVR. Better to work with just one from end to end.
