Parameter Ranges in Decimals... Why?

Here's one for you guys. Almost all the parameters for adjusting things in DR are on scales of like 0.0 - 0.1 or some odd decimal range like that. This makes it difficult to make precise adjustments, and just seems odd and non-user friendly. Why not go for simplicity and use a scale of 0-100 for everything? It just seems like that would be much more intuitive than always ending up with something like .0247 when adjusting parameters.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to change the ranges or is there a specific reason why BM designed it like this?
