Editing Left and Right Audio Tracks separately

Hi. I am a new user, on Da Vinci Resolve 20.
How do i edit left and right audio tracks separately?

I've tried the manual but can't find the answer.

Your audio clip needs to be stereo. Assuming it is, create two mono audio tracks and add the audio clip to each track. Then right click one of the clips and select Clip Attributes. Go to the Audio tab, under Source Channel, select which L or R channel you want. Do the same thing with the other track and select the opposite channel, and you can edit each individually. Not sure if this addresses your specific issue but hopefully it helps.
