DaVinci Resolve does not accept MP4 files?

I'm new on editing, just bought DJI cameras, Action2 and Action 5pro, for making videos when riding from Finland to Saudi Arabia on my motorcycle. Today went for a ride and filmed for to start using this da Vinci program. BUT, this film files are ....D.MP4 ending and da Vinci is not accepting those. What to do? I checked that program accepts MP4 files, what is wrong? Can someone advise? Thanks Yogi

DR definitely does edit MP4 files. If all of your project and timeline settings match the footage, then it may be a codec incompatibility with footage from the DJI cameras, this thread may be able to help you:

I have bought today a DJI Action5 myself and DaVinci Resolve 19 has no problem with it. MP4 is a standard.

How did you import the files into Davinci Resolve? Import only the MP4 files, not the other ones.
