unable to upload video into resolve as it is not compatible

I own a Canon R5ll and have tried multiple times to inport an mp4 and it states it is not compatible. I googled acceptable camera settings and these are mine : 4k u, 59.94p, LGOP , 8 bit. I have also tried 29.97p but to no avail. any other suggestions would be very much appreciated. thank you.
 
DVR accepts MP4 files, but they must be encoded in AVI, H.264, or H.265. There is a free online conversion tool that handles up to 1GB of video.
