I have a legal, registered version of DaVinci Resolve. I just installed the latest update (20.1.1). I keep a full image of my operating system and all my 'standard' programs' so when I run into a problem I can just boot to the image, click go, and in about 4 minutes I have a complete, clean installation of my boot partition and programs ready to go.
Evidently, when I restore this partition, I am also re-activating DaVinci Resolve. This last time around, I got a pop-up that told me I only had one activation remaining. ?? I'm only installing my legit copy of my program back on to the same (and only) computer where I use DaVinci. Upon further looking, I noticed a place under the 'HELP' menu where I can deactivate my license.
I guess before restoring my image each time, I should have been going into this menu and deactivating the license. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this. Is there any way I can 'reset' the number of activations associated with my program? Has anyone else seen this?
Any and all help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance for the assistance..
